For more than 35 years, my husband, Dr. Mike Gosling, and I sought out the best mentors available and studied everything we could find on emotional intelligence, behavior, neuropsychology, and the physiology of emotion. In this book we combine all of the lessons we learned and share the tips, tools, and techniques that we developed and apply in our own lives. They work!
What we learned is this: Life is a series of events. Every event is an opportunity for change. It's from the most painful events that you change the most. Changing your life requires choice to reframe much of what you have already learned in your brain. This book will help you recondition your brain so that you are able to envision your true identity and then enact real change in your behavior and personal life. Abundance comes from awareness. If you want an abundant and balanced life, it is there for the taking, but you need to become aware of your true self and focus on that and not on appearances. It's up to you to make it happen, and Emotional Leadership shows you how to get there, building trust in your relationships one step at a time.
